Business Card
This is a business card design for a potential company I would like to have one day. The company is called SEN Design and it specializes in rapid prototyping production of both graphic and product designs. SEN Design uses advanced technologies, such as CAD, CNC, 3D printing and laser engraving to create simple and effective prototypes for people wanting to test a concept get a product off the ground.
SEN Design gets it's name from the last three letters in my last name, Andersen. The emphasis on SEN comes from a life long battle of having people spell my name incorrectly as Anderson. I wanted this part of my company's identity to stand out in it's name to set it apart.
Because SEN Design uses technology and seeks to provide simple and effective design solutions I wanted the business card to match. To do this I used a futuristic looking font for the text logo and clean lines. I kept the color scheme to white, black/grey tones, and cyan because they created a high contrast with a professional feel. I centered the logo on the back of the card and in the "box" on the front. I also added a halftone texture for added dept to the design and placed it on both the front and back of the card for repetition. Finally, I put the information in close proximity to each other for ease of viewing and visual balance.
